Yes. I have the latest, portable versions of the equipment you find in a Opticians store. I can check all the same things as a high street optician including your vision, prescription, eye health, eye pressure and visual fields. I am a fully qualified and registered Optometrist with over 18 years of experience.
No. I bring everything I need with me to do the eye test. I can arrange my equipment to suit your room regardless of the size. This means I can do the test wherever you are most comfortable. I can even do the test if you are bedbound.
Yes. When I arrive, I will ask to see your eligibility proof.
Yes. A privately funded eye test at home will cost £60. However, if someone else is having an eye test at the same location, at the same time I will reduce this to £40.
Yes. You are welcome to have someone present for the eye test for support.
Yes. Someone can book your eye test for you. However, should they wish to discuss the eye test results that include your personal, financial or medical information I will have to have permission from yourself or proof of power of attorney to be able to do this.
Usually it takes around 1 hour but this can vary depending on any problems you are having or if I discover any problems with the health of your eyes.
Yes. I will have a photo ID card.
Yes. I carry over 170 frames to choose from including a range of designer brands and sunglasses.
